Wood-fired floating sauna at Muskoka Wharf with a year-round plunge straight into Lake Muskoka
Why go to Floathaus
Floathaus is a wood-fired sauna floating at Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst, with a window looking out over Lake Muskoka. Guests check in and change at Muskoka Mind + Body, then follow a glow, rinse, rest cycle: sauna with löyly steam, a dip from a swim ladder into the lake, and a rest on the dock or in the lakeview room.
The lake plunge is open year round, and in winter the ladder goes through a hole in the ice. Sessions are social by default, with private bookings for up to eight people. A 70-minute standard session is $67 plus tax and includes a sherpa-lined robe.
