MORI Japanese Bar

London, ON

Lantern-lit Japanese bar and restaurant in Wortley Village with a collection of sake cups

Why go to MORI Japanese Bar

MORI Japanese Bar is a small Japanese bar and restaurant on Wortley Road in London's Wortley Village. Mori means forest in Japanese, and the restaurant says the name nods to London's nickname, the Forest City, where its first restaurant opened.

Destination Ontario describes an intimate room of dark woods and glowing paper lanterns, with a collection of unique sake cups on display. It is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, from noon until 10 p.m. midweek and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and closed Sunday and Monday.
