Nordic Spa at The Liberty Inn

The Liberty Inn occupies an 1855 stone building in Alton, in the Town of Caledon, that began as the first post office and general store in the hamlet of Cataract. It sits beside Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, and owners Bruno Roldan and Jacqui Liberty opened The Liberty Inn there with five suites in 2025.

Its outdoor Nordic spa has a cedar hot tub, a Finnish sauna and a cold plunge, with a quiet seating area among the gardens for resting between rounds. Only inn guests can use it, booking a private session at $45 per hour that covers everyone on the reservation, up to five people, between 3 pm and 8 pm.
