RockHaus Climbing
Vaughan
2,000 sq ft of bouldering walls, reset every Monday, near the VMC subway
Why go to RockHaus Climbing
RockHaus Climbing opened in Vaughan in October 2024, started by childhood friends Brian and Royce. Climbing Business Journal reported that Brian began climbing in 2017 at Grand River Rocks, and that the pair chose a site near the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, which the city is developing into a downtown core. The gym says it was founded to add more climbing space outside Toronto, and it sits a 15-minute walk from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway station, close to Highways 400 and 407.
RockHaus is a bouldering-only gym with 2,000 square feet of climbing wall in a 4,000 square foot space, and Climbing Business Journal puts the walls at up to 15 feet. No harnesses are needed, so climbers rent only shoes. Problems are reset every Monday for beginner to intermediate climbers, and a small training area holds hangboards, a squat rack and a 2024 Moonboard. Newcomers can book an Intro to Bouldering class, and Mini Crushers runs for ages 8 to 12. An adult day pass is $26.
