The story
Manoir Hovey was built in 1899 as a summer residence. The restaurant reportedly opened around 1950, when the manor became a hotel, and the Stafford family now owns it. Until 2006 it was simply the manor's restaurant. It was then renamed Le Hatley, to honour North Hatley's culinary tradition.
