Nacarat

Nacarat is the cocktail bar of Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth on René-Lévesque, a large room of 166 seats that Tastet describes as chic, dark and sophisticated, finished in polished, high-quality materials with orange accents that nod to the bar's name. The hotel frames it around the glam rock era, and in summer a third-floor rooftop terrace adds DJs, barbecue and views over downtown.

Behind the bar, the team mixes classic and signature cocktails with both traditional and newer techniques, alongside local and seasonal beers. Tastet singled out the Angus Knows!, a gin drink with yogurt liqueur, sudachi, agave and lemongrass, and the 57 Colada, a light piña colada made with house coconut milk. Nacarat placed #38 on Canada's 50 Best Bars in 2024.
