Featherstone Winery

Featherstone is a small eco-friendly winery on the upper Twenty Mile Bench, set among some of the oldest Riesling vines in Niagara according to Wine Country Ontario. It has been insecticide-free since 1999, uses cover crops, mechanical weeding and beneficial insects, and brings in a flock of sheep each season to strip leaves from the fruiting zone.

Tastings come as three-wine flights, $20 for the Falcon Flight and $25 for the reserve High Altitude Flight, with wood-fired pizza and other food served seasonally. Destination Ontario notes its community giving and the dog-friendly Muddy Paws Wine Trail it hosts each summer.
