Drake Devonshire

Drake Devonshire is a boutique lakeside inn in Wellington, Prince Edward County, and Destination Ontario picks its restaurant patio as one of the province's best places to spend a summer afternoon. The main dining room sits against Lake Ontario, with lakefront dining and a pavilion alongside it.

Executive chef Amanda Ray, who cooked at Canoe and Auberge du Pommier and led the kitchen at Le Mount Stephen in Montreal, describes her menu as refined but relaxed and built on local, seasonal ingredients. The Drake has highlighted her albacore tuna with ponzu, olives, capers and sesame rice chips, a hanger steak with hand-cut fries, the Drake burger and London-style fish and chips.
