Glen Oro Farm is a family-run equestrian farm near Hawkestone in Oro-Medonte, first settled in 1841 and owned by the Saila family since 1967. Its Eco-Retreat offers stargazer domes and explorer's tents heated by wood stoves, each with a private campfire pit, alongside trail rides on the farm.
A cedar barrel sauna heated by a Finnish wood stove stands on a ridge in the Eco-Retreat with forest views, with a cold plunge just outside the door. It is open to overnight guests, who sign up for private sessions during their stay using a booking link or the board outside the sauna.
