Café Boulud
Yorkville, Toronto
Daniel Boulud's French brasserie in the Four Seasons, with chef William Kresky.
Why go to Café Boulud
Café Boulud is Daniel Boulud's brasserie inside the Four Seasons in Yorkville, open since 2012. Executive chef William Kresky took over in 2024, after cooking at Richmond Station, Alo, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Gramercy Tavern and The French Laundry. He calls it a quintessential French brasserie, cooks with what he describes as reasonable creativity, and buys from small farms and producers.
The seasonal menu sets brasserie classics beside local ingredients. Boulud's signature sea bass en paupiette is on the dinner card, along with a whole rotisserie chicken with morel cream for two, while the Café Boulud burger is kept for lunch and weekend brunch. Desserts include a chocolate île flottante and warm madeleines, and Kresky also cooks a seasonal tasting menu. Canada's 100 Best ranked Café Boulud 65th in 2023.
