Why go to Gretzky Estates Winery and Distillery

Wayne Gretzky Estates opened on Niagara Stone Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake in June 2017, in a 23,000 square foot building where both wine and whisky are made on site. blogTO described production tours, tasting bars, a retail store and a patio restaurant called The Whisky Bar.

Wine Country Ontario lists tastings in the Tasting Hall, tours with tastings along the way, and a cocktail class. Walk-in flights of four wines or spirits run daily, and from December to March the Whisky Bar Patio pairs with an outdoor skating rink, a nod to the hockey great behind the name.
