Dundas, ON
Fine dining in a Victorian house in Dundas, run by its founding chefs since 2010
Why go to Quatrefoil
Quatrefoil is a fine dining restaurant in a Victorian house on Sydenham Street in Dundas. Chefs Fraser Macfarlane and Georgina Mitropoulos opened it in 2010, and the MICHELIN Guide describes it as a fixture of the local dining scene ever since. Time Out calls it Hamilton's top fine dining destination.
The dinner menu is short. Destination Ontario points to the sea scallops and the beef tenderloin, and the current menu also lists a field mushroom soup, hand cut steak tartare, Brome Lake duck breast and a squash pithivier. MICHELIN inspectors noted seared steelhead trout with basil vin blanc and a weekend lunch with confit duck leg and haskap berries. Destination Ontario adds that the restaurant has been recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, Toronto Life and enRoute.
