Why go to The Burnt Tongue

The Burnt Tongue is a soup-focused restaurant with several locations in and around Hamilton, including Locke Street South, King Street West in Westdale and Cannon Street East. Destination Ontario recommends it for a hearty lunch, and Time Out notes that it has been endorsed by Guillermo del Toro.

The menu centres on a frequently changing selection of soups, alongside salads, sandwiches, and burgers and fries at some locations. Every location is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week, and the restaurant also sells take-home soups, caters and runs cooking classes. It has added locations in Dundas and Burlington.
