Ban Bu Xian

Ban Bu Xian brought its Richmond Sichuan cooking downtown in 2024, opening a second room at 1282 Robson Street. Vancity Lookout described a space built for groups rather than quiet dates, with long picnic-style tables, bamboo-lined walls, rope-wrapped ceilings and a warm, earthy orange palette, and advised arriving ready for spice. The Chinese Restaurant Awards named Ban Bu Xian, across its Vancouver and Richmond locations, a Top 50 Honouree on its Elite 30 Canada list for 2025, so a full table of friends sharing dishes is the way to go.
