Why go to Acquafarina

Acquafarina is a MICHELIN-recommended Italian dining room on West Georgia, with soaring ceilings, a copper bar and a 5,000-bottle wine cellar. The MICHELIN Guide explains the large wood-burning ovens above the room: it was first meant to be a pizzeria before pivoting to fine dining, though the guide found friendly servers, a la carte ordering and pizzas still on offer at lunch. There is also an upstairs private room and a covered, heated patio with a retractable roof, which MICHELIN called the best mix of formality and fun.

Gambero Rosso awarded Acquafarina one Forchetta in its Top Italian Restaurants 2026 for a kitchen that pairs Italian tradition with local ingredients, moving from antipasti to hand-rolled pasta and fresh seafood. MICHELIN singled out a chilled tomato soup with Spanish ham and delicate, simply dressed pastas, and the restaurant adds weekend brunch, a caviar service and a private liquor locker program for regulars.
