Coal Harbour, Vancouver
Coal Harbour branch of the Nook Italian restaurants.
Why go to Nook Coal Harbour
Nook began in the West End in 2009 as a neighbourhood spot where locals could share good food and drink, and Coal Harbour on Melville Street is one of several Metro Vancouver branches, alongside sister restaurants Oddfish and Radish. The formula is consistent: local produce from farmer friends, the best Italian imports the team can find, house-made pasta and pizza, and wine from small vineyards, served from lunch through dinner with brunch and a daily happy hour.
From the antipasto list come whipped ricotta crostini with honey and hazelnuts, burrata with prosciutto sliced to order, and oven-roasted meatballs. Pastas include veal cheek pappardelle and orecchiette with fennel sausage and rapini, and the pizzas run from a margherita to soppressata with stracciatella and hot honey, with daily pizza and pasta specials on top. Gambero Rosso gave the Coal Harbour room two Forchette in its Top Italian Restaurants 2026.
